Just a girl who loves music, cosplay, randomly breaking out into song and dance when the urge strike (which is... all the time~), Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Moon and Glee. I'm just trying to figure this out. Until then I'm just floating through~

I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (“I’m not a big one for paying compliments…”), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain.

When women can’t go out because they’re asking for rape, and black men can’t go out because they’re asking to be shot, it’s time for a fuckin’ change.

Like I don’t even think you guys understand the magnitude of this tweet. The sheer humanity of this, they are dying over there. No they are being SLAUGHTERED but they have the ability to still think to help people they have never met, people they will never meet. They understand what the people in Ferguson are going through, they see it because they are going through it too.

Civil Rights Movement vs Ferguson Protests

Jesus Christ, it is 2014.  What is wrong with us that this is still happening?

This is a collection of Tweets from military veterans reacting to the police response in Ferguson.

And if this shit doesn’t scare you, I don’t know what will.
